North Mire
North Mire is a city built on the cliffs of the northern tip of
Mirey Island. Under the city are great coastal caves that house the city's famous Cavern Cove. Long-ago Sorcerers magically carved stone stairways and chutes to facilitate booth dismembarkment and offloading cargo. However, in recent times, more elegant artifice solutions are replacing the pulley systems of old.

This large building has a sanctuary for worship, preaching, and performances, as well as a healing hall to attend to the sick and injured, and a parsonage where the clergy live communally. In each of the three areas of the temple is a statue of Astrid (blessing the congregation, healing the sick, and pouring out water respectively). Each depiction shows Astrid bearing forth the Light of Beskytter, and the crystal orbs in each statue really glow! The clergy's statue has a decanter of endless water built into it (in the hand of Astrid) that flows out into a fountain that drains into the sea. On Corkman's Day, the decanter stops flowing. On Sir Robert's Day, Vintersowilstede, and Sommersowilstede, the decanter flows with mead instead of water.
