University of North Mire

All the Bards in Voktegård are trained here. Students can generally enroll a few years before the age of maturity for their race and after one year, they can either graduate a fully fledged bard or continue to study at the University. Some travel and adventure, then return for more advanced studies. The university has 8 Colleges of advanced study:
• College of Creation
• College of Eloquence
• College of Glamour
• College of Lore
• College of Spirits
• College of Swords
• College of Valor
• College of Whispers

The University is very expensive, so only wealthy families or those of extreme talent that can obtain a wealthy sponsor are able to attend. Some sponsors have students sign contracts to be their personal bard for a certain number of years after graduating, others simply like the prestige of being able to say that they sponsored a famous and talented bard.
