New Dør

This is a resettlement of the old Hyggoth thorp of Dør, now a full fledged town. It is small and bucks the governance of The Great Grove by maintaining the Temple of Mar. Clerics of Mar are trained here, and Marite druids often learn druidry in the sacred birch grove here. In keeping with Dalland laws, there are no shops here but many goods can be bartered for and there is a communal meadhall called "The Meadery of a Nameless Old Elf". It is said that this mead is surpassed only by Oldin's Secret Recipe at the Vanishing Inn in Hive & Herd Town.

Temple of Mar

The "temple" of Mar is not a typical temple. Instead, it is merely a gathering place at a gigantic Birch Tree in the center of the New Dør grove. Passionflower vines grow up the trunk and along the branches. a few hundred glowing crystal orbs dangle in the vines, grasping them, and the beautiful purple passionflowers bloom around the orbs year round. Before the Elder Birch is a gilded Sowilpool that collects rainwater and is blessed regularly by the Druids and Clerics who tend to the grove.
