Children of Joergen

Not all Children of Joergen are his literal children. Some are grand- or great-grandchildren. However, due to the age at which people marry and have children in Dwarven culture, most PC Children of Joergen would be his grandchildren. The most famous of all his children is his firstborn, Jorg Platebreaker, the first Commander of the Citadel of the Seal and the bearer of the Light of Renere.
All of Joergen's children were born of his wife Gecynd Alebrewer. She is still alive at 250 years old (making her, in Dwarven terms, old but not feeble or anywhere close to death). Over the years, Gecynd bore the Hero 12 sons (and no daughters, the poor women). All twelve of these sons work either in the government of the Independent Republic of the New Dwarven City or in the leadership of the Citadel of the Seal. Gecynd herself has a strong sense of Dwarven tradition, so she has no interest in government or military life and instead keeps to her centuries-old family business of ale making. She runs the exceedingly humble but heavily-patroned "Gecynd's Groghouse" in the New Dwarven City.
