Fur coats and mufflers and other similar objects in the area have been coming to life and attacking their owners. If the PCs investigate, they may find that it's the world of a local landworker who wants to put a stop to a local hunters' consortium who's been overexploiting the wildlife. She's not wrong about the consortium; it's harvesting fur-bearing animals at unsustainable levels and doing serious damage to the environment. But her tactics are getting a lot of innocent people hurt. Can the landworker be reasoned with or bargained with, or is there some other way the PCs can resolve the situation?
