Rougiris

Condition slowly inflicted by the weapon Gaé Saer. It is a side effect of the weapons ability to connect to the user and augment their abilities. It is speculated that the condition is caused by Luma coming out of the weapon and burning nerves and tissue when the weapon is fired.
In the longer term this causes the users arms to grow red lines running from their hands to their chest. It is also know that parts of the users hair turn to have a red color. How fast these symptoms develop is mainly dependent on the frequency of the usage, but overexertion can make this process tremendously faster.

Treatment

There is no known treatment.

Prognosis

Rougiris does not progress on its own, but continued use of Gaé Saer will see the condition worsen. It is fatal if allowed to progress, but with moderate use of the weapon the progression should be negligible. Heavy exertion and prolonged use at a time should be avoided.
