Lumaria

A lumaria is a structure that draws and amplifies Luma, the magic that permeates the universe. Lumaria are an old technology of ancient and unknown origin found scattered across the world. Probably the most famous one is The Amethurii, found in the center of the Senfid Aidarii headquarters of Cordein.
Lumaria can be identified by the purple hue that light gains in their vicinity. The exact source for this effect is unmown, but it is speculated to be a similar to red shifting. It is highly dangerous to get close to them as some lumaria have fallen into disrepair over time and turned unstable, leaking great amounts raw Luma. Raw Luma is highly toxic to all living things and a prolonged exposure will cause Lucino Violac or even death.
