Boiling Sands

The Western Desert

A smaller desert if compared to Solnater. It is located to the west of the The West Chain of Bera's Bracers, and to the south of The Lizard Woods. The desert is mostly a highlands area with various oasis dotting the surface.
Being a highland it mostly guarded from the flooding during The Tempest, with only some of the outer most regions usually flooding. This has allowed the fresh water oasis to form and for life to prosper around the cycles.
With the fresh water readily available the Qasquamata have rapid spread over the desert. The condition be most idea for them.

Geography

Vast dry sand desert highlands area dotted with fresh water oases. The sands have formed many dunes that move with the winds, especially during the tempest. On the eastern end the Boiling Sands are defined by the The West Chain, in the north by the The Lizard Woods, while in the west The Ruby Spine, and in the south the shallow ocean, mark is natural borders.

Fauna & Flora

The flora, and with it the fauna, are mostly centered around the various oases with only some small lizards, insects, cacti, and weeds surviving the the heart of the desert. It is stark contrast as the oasis are like paradises with a multitude of floras species, like fruit palms, fragrant flowers, and fiber grass. Also wild okra and red tail are common. 
Most of the natural occurring animals are birds and insects, where many of the latter belong the the food chains of the former.
