Bohukorol

The Lance of Kings

The Bohukorol (Tagizdamian for "The Lance of Kings") is the name used by Tagizdam, The Western Kingdom of its military.   The Bohukorol is split into five branches: The Berl, the Meterl, the Sarq, the Bandiwil and the Gislip.   Of these, the Berl are the backbone of the military. They constitute the basic infantry of the Tagizdamian army.   The Meterl are the heavy infantry. They are deployed more sparingly than Berl but are harder to kill and pack more of a punch in battle.   The Sarq are the palace guard of the Tagizdamian royal palace. They are rarely seen on the battlefield at all beyond acting as bodyguard to the King. They are, however, well armed and highly trained so even a small number of them is a force to be reckoned with.   The Bandiwil are the Tagizdamian cavalry. They are widely feared by other people's infantries in particular.   The Gislip are Tagizdams Walker units. They are heavier and less mobile than those employed by Kovaln but lighter than those of Nberezt. Gislip are typically employed (and armed) to fight other people's walkers and to break positions.

Structure

The Bohukorol is led by the king of Tagizdam. The current king is Tarek Bawikorol.   The king is aided by Gisma. There is one Gisma for each branch of the Bohukorol.   Under each Gisma are the battallion commanders, the Jogerl. These execute the orders of the king and the Gisma of their branch.   Finally, below the Jogerl, are frontline officers, the Basterl. Each Basterl is responsible for a smaller set of men within each battallion.
