Visharvé: the All Land Magical Pangaea

In this world where Pangaea never split up, regional cultures are a great deal more blended. Most cultures feel familiar, but are fictional progressions of several different civilizations.  Magic coexists with rudimentary technology, here, facilitating and sometimes complicating the people's lives. Whimsical might best describe this alternate reality Earth, both comfortable and exciting, like a mixture of fairytale, mystery, and adventure; Visharvé is intended as light-hearted entertainment and sweet romance with a sly sense of humor.

Magic is well defined regionally, but not everyone possesses it to any significant degree. In general, magic does not permeate the environment, however, but exists as an ambient field which talented individuals can access and manipulate. Hence, magical flora or fauna are vanishingly rare. There are purely magical races, but they do not often interact with humans. Technology is functional, as physics still applies unless it is interfered with, yet tools and machines are simple, having stalled developmentally at a basic medieval level.

Visharvé is mainly temperate to subtropical, being warmer but also milder in climate. There are fewer massive mountain ranges and, obviously, less coastal area, but the vast inland seas are a moderating influence on weather. Human magic can sometimes affect the weather and local environmental features, but not the overall climate or landscape to any significant extent. For most people, life is reasonably pleasant but ordinary. Bad things happen to good people, and vice versa, but faith persists that love and justice tend to prevail.
