Mythology & Lore
Before the two deities Aygragar and Saqashi were stuck in eternal battle, Aygragar created the world of Viridium. His intentions were to create a world that would reflect who he truly was, a place where there would be only light and truth. Soon after seeing Aygragar and his new creation, the jealous Saqashi decided to invade his planet, spreading darkness and deceit throughout its lands. Thus resulting in the current struggle between light and dark that the Dleshi's find themselves in.
Divine Origins
The religion of Dleshism first formed by the Prophet Zurvan, who at that time was a priest for the ancient religion of Driitism. The Prophet Zurvan became dismayed with how a large portion of his fellow priests and politicians were often hypocritical in their daily lifes. What they preached in the temple and the courtroom was often contradictory. Full of anger, Zurvan stormed into the fields outside the city of Tuskagyar. There in his rage, Aygragar, pure light and goodness revealed itself, and descended upon him.
Sects
There are two main sects of Dleshism, which are reflected in Loxodon culture and the city of Tuskagyar.
