Uses, Products & Exploitation

A sugary, nutritious flesh can be found just under the bark, and can be harvested without killing the tree. These trees make up the bulk of The League's agriculture, and the flesh, called Cielg, or "tree blood", makes up the bulk of The League's diet. The wood of the elder trees also makes for a fantastic building material.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

These trees make up a considerable portion of the Megalio, a huge darkwood forest that covers most of the island of Roos, in The League.
