Chapter V: Da Ba Dee Da Ba Da

General Summary

1. Torinn walks down the river looking for Natalie and fishes out a piece of brown fur, then returns
2. Damien and Vivian continue to try and chip away at Dazzy's ice
3. Damien and Vivian spar and the red berry infection continues to spread on Damien and Dazzy
4. Torinn tries to help with the infection but makes it worse, and Damien throws up
5. Torinn banishes Dazzy and tries to push the ice out of the way and climb into the ice before he reappears
6. He failed; the ice has shifted slightly and Torinn's arm is now wedged in the ice against Dazzy's arm, and Dazzy's head is free
7. Torinn uses Blink to free himself, but now his arm is sore
8. Vivian listens to Damien sleeptalk feverishly about how much Vivian and Torinn suck
9. Morning comes, and Torinn and Vivian scramble to help both Damien and Dazzy while also dealing with fantasy racism
10. Vivian prays and a woman named Seiche falls from the sky {lands without a scratch} with honey and an offer to help
11. Seiche frees Dazzy and Selene easily
12. Seiche feeds honey to Dazzy and Damien to help with the berry infection
13. She mentions she is from a monastery called the Halcyon Cascades, and answers everything else very vaguely {mainly because Casey only writes bullet points for character backgrounds}
14. Damien and Dazzy wake up, and we head for the river to look for Natalie, who Seiche thinks is gone forever {bc she just knows these things and has a feeling about it}
15. Vivian finds a torn lock of Natalie's hair in the river {totally enough closure, people have moved on with less}
16. We plan to cross the river using fly
