957 P.E.
- Lady Amara and a group of other vampires arrive in the village of Gundtre in Guryk
- We meet a young girl names Maria, who explains the situation to us:
- The villagers have been suffering from excruciating nightmares, due to the presence of the Cosmic Artifact Cin’ryi
- Maria takes us to a large, bright white castle
- We see a fox and a snake outside, but they slip inside the castle as we approach
- We enter the castle and examine the first room for any clues; the large door that seems to lead into the central room is locked
- Therin finds a secret passage beyond the bookshelf that opens into another room, but when he opens it, the doorway we came in through is blocked by byzantium bars
- In the next room are three large pots, and as we step through the door, three corpse-like figures emerge from the pots and attack
- As soon as we clear the door, it too is blocked by bars, and the window opens to let the light of the Crimson creep along the floor (it will kill us if it touches us)
- Once we kill the corpses, another room opens up and we enter; the second room is blocked off
- A haunting waltz begins to play on piano, and we find Greyden Daghardt, father of Therin and San, hanging by a noose from the ceiling
- After a moment, the walls shimmer and the illusion disappears
- There are two rooms connected to it, and each contain a switch; we figure out that one switch must be open and the other must be closed in order to enter the next room
- In the next room, we are attacked by two, necrotic, decaying dragons, and we defeat them
- In the next room, the waltz plays again; the walls shimmer and move, and spiders cover the walls and ceiling, before disappearing
- When we enter the final central room, we find Antithesis playing a piano in the center of the room; we find ourselves all paralyzed except for San
- San turns on us and kills all of us except for Amara
- Before San can touch Amara, Antithesis rises and plunges their hand into San's chest, pulling out her heart
- "Who are you? What do you want?" asks a shaky Amara
- "The Fell-Touched cannot survive for too long..." hisses Antithesis
- Before Antithesis can kill Amara, she teleports outside of the castle
- Antithesis follows her, summoning two small, hovering pyramids over their shoulders
- Amara sends a tearful message to Alucca, and then blacks out
- When she wakes up, she finds herself home in the Bachel Isle next to a very injured Alucca
