Slunnyahoy
The Slunnyahoy are a corrupted form of wraiths. Once a peaceful and neutral being that carries souls from Purgatory to the gates of either Heaven or Hell. Now, disgusting creatures consumed by corruption and feral in nature. An ethereal beast with no alliance, attacking anything and anyone that it catches sight of.
Appearance:
A dark cloak made of living tar hangs off its bony corpse, with strands violently waving behind it, ready to wrap and grip future victims. Mottled grey tones splash the long skinny nails that is uses for claws, attached to four arms that protrude its torso. Covering its head is a hood made of the same viscous material of its cloak. Where eyes should be, is instead replaced with with hollow holes that cause anyone who stares too long to become unsettled. Finally, the Slunnyahoy is missing a bottom jaw. Showing off a long red tongue, stained by the blood of past creatures and uneven jagged teeth. Stained in a putrid yellow which seems to illuminate even in the darkest of nights.Actions:
Claw - With its razor talons for fingers, the Slunnyahoy swipes furioursly at the nearest person. 1d8 melee damage. Chance to cause bleed condition upon a critical hit. Ethereal - The Slunnyahoy is impervious to physical attacks. Grappling Cloak - The black goo cloak springs to life and launches itself at the nearest living souls. Able to grapple upto 2 targets. Tongue Lash - With a gargling screech, the Slunnyahoy whips its head and slashes its tongue in the air. 1d8 melee damage. Chance to cause bleed condition upon a critical hit.I pray you or I never meet such a creature. A being transformed by the selfishness of others into a living curse that seeks out chaos and destruction for the remainder of eternity. Old remnants of the age of Realm Rangers describes the creatures as something that should be avoided at all costs. Advise I would consider with intention young adventurer.
