Teifling

A unique variant of humans, are typically born into families with a strong magical lineage or whose parents have had significant magical experiences. Magic and Tieflings are deeply intertwined, even more so than with the ancient Elves. Due to their somewhat demon-like appearance, certain sects within the faith of The Sol consider Tieflings to be cursed humans tainted by magic. As a result, many Tieflings seek refuge and community among other races and societies that are more accepting of their unique heritage.
