Genasi are a unique race in Vilra-Shal, born with the elemental powers of air, earth, fire, and water coursing through their veins. These beings are closely tied to both the elements and human history, with records dating back to the time of The Shatter suggesting that they may have played a significant role in early human development. Their assistance in various fields such as architecture, agriculture, and innovation is well-documented in ancient texts across different cultures. However, in recent times, the Genasi population has experienced a sharp decline, with very few being born in the past century. Scholars have theorized that this decline may be linked to the waning connection between humans and the Four Elemental Titans, resulting in fewer Genasi births. This gradual separation from the elements has raised concerns about the future of the Genasi and their unique place in Vilra-Shal's history and society.
