Vaults of Untold Treasures
Randon was a planet from which the Randoni peoples (a human-like race) originated. It was a large business world with crowded bazaars and elegant corporate towers. It was at the intersection with several major trade routes, including the Trax Tube, Ootmian Pabol, Pabol Sleheyron, and the Randon Run.
However, in early 25BBY a stellar event rocked the system and turned their Binary stars into Binary Neutron Pulsars, and ate the rest of the system in an awesome phenomenon as the two suns erupted in a Type IIn supernova simultaneously. The event destroyed the system, eating most of the planetary bodies and turning Randon itself into a wasteland of buried treasure. There remain some semblances of the once-great bazaars across the planet, though much less official now and often inhabited by pirates and other criminals.
Randon attracts all manner of thrill-seeker with stories of vast treasures hidden beneath the dusty wastes in vaults from the Randoni merchants. Now, it is the interest of the Separatists and Republic alike, jockeying for control of the Hyperspace lanes...
