Negekron

Negekron, (nay-guh-CRON) or colloquially known as Harmonia is one of The Ishtar Consortium’s nine states. It is also made up of nine smaller regions and states that serve together like Ishtar on a smaller scale. Negekron is known for open and empathetic people and a culture built around personal freedoms and romanticising aspects of life.

Geography

The state of Harmonia has a geographic make up as diverse as the Ishtar Consortium as a whole. It boasts windswept plains to the north, ending at Istenkardja’s Eye of Catherine, frigid cold tundra to the southeast where it presses against Vetrehez and the Zeemland, and its western border is partially submerged into the Briarwood itself denoting a border with the river to its south.

Government

Much like the Ishtar Consortium serves as a feudal monarchy made up of rulers of smaller states, so too does Negekron host a council of rulers from its nine regions, known as The Nonet. These leaders then elect a third party to sit and listen on the council and serve as representative on Ishtar’s council of Low Kings.

Positions

• Regisseur/Prima - The de facto leader of each of Negekron’s nine states. They are able to rule autonomously over their region while meeting on the council to resolve issues and conflicts. While all Regisseurs and Primas are equal on the council, they do often turn to the ruler of Luminaria to mediate as necessary. In this role as mediator or decision maker during times of war or conflict, they are known as the Sovereign of the Masque. If they are unavailable, the elected council member of the Low Kings may don this role. An heir to the Regisseur or Prima is known as the Scion.

Other positions of nobility include: Vesper(a), Flâneur, Cavalier, Cadre, and Varlet.

Asteris

Regisseur Theron Glacius
Asteris is a land of glacial beauty, mist-shrouded valleys, and hidden truths. Known for its scholars and record-keepers, it is the kingdom of introspection and historical preservation. The people value precision, intellect, and subtlety, often weaving elaborate metaphors into their expressions. The citizens value truth, but acknowledge that deception is often a tool of survival. The kingdom’s architecture mirrors frozen fractals, with grand ice-like towers and mirrored halls. Its leader, Regisseur Theron Glacius, embodies a quiet authority, always striving for perfection in law and governance. Asteris’s artistry is expressed in historical narratives and documentaries, which often blend fact with poetic embellishments. Asteris is most notable for The Frosted Archive. This labyrinthine library containing enchanted scrolls is the oldest repository of information in Vielamor. Asteris also plays host to artists specializing in precision based artistry, especially their renowned ice sculptures said to reveal secrets under light.

Aurelia

Prima Selena Chryseis
Aurelia is the heart of romantic art and golden decadence, a land where love stories are immortalized in song and sculpture. Its citizens are artisans, poets, and dreamers who prioritize unity and empathy, value harmony, and celebrate life’s pleasures. Relationships are fluid and open, reflecting their belief that love transcends boundaries. Aurelia’s leader, Prima Selena Chryseis, is adored for her charm and ability to mediate even the most intense disputes among the Nonet. Her palace is a gilded masterpiece of stained glass and flowing fountains. Aurelia is known for its gilded theaters, extravagant festivals, and, most of all, The Golden Lyre Amphitheater where legendary love stories are reenacted under the stars.

Luminara

Prima Evelyne Solara
Luminara is a whimsical land of perpetual festivals and joyful gatherings, where lantern-lit streets create an aura of constant celebration. The culture prioritizes generosity and shared joy, often using humor to address the hardships of life. Its people are deeply empathetic, focusing on spreading joy and comfort and valuing innocence and sincerity. Prima Evelyne Solara, while beloved for her compassion, struggles with self-doubt and is known for seeking the advice of her council frequently. Often sought out but fiercely protected, The Crystal Grove serves as a source of the magical light effects across Harmonia.

Pyrrhos

Regisseur Magnus Brant
Pyrrhos is a fervent and martial kingdom with a culture steeped in religious devotion to both ancient and modern gods. The Wolven Witch, The Noble Fox, and The Lynx Hunter are prominent in old rituals while The Heart and Flame symbolizes modern zeal. Known for their disciplined warriors and passionate orators, Pyrrhos thrives on innovation born of necessity. Regisseur Magnus Brant is a firebrand whose faith inspires and commands. Set along glacial cliffs, The Pyrefane Cathedral is said to be a warm light against the cold darkness with flames rumoured to burn continuously without magic.

Brontëa

Prima Helena Stormward
Brontëa is a land of towering forests and tempestuous weather, where the people’s bold spirits reflect the thunderous skies. Their dances and rituals celebrate strength, vitality, and nature’s ferocity. Their celebrations utilize their physical strength and resilience with dynamic performances, such as acrobatics and martial arts. The kingdom’s wooden halls, especially that of The Stormborn Arena are designed to resonate with music and movement, boasting the finest dancers and combat artists in Harmonia. Regisseur Helena Stormward’s charisma and steadfastness make her a celebrated figure of unity and resilience.

Nyxia

Regisseur Alaric Duskveil
Nyxia is a somber and enigmatic kingdom where death is not feared but revered as part of life’s cycle. The people are reflective and artistic, creating hauntingly beautiful works of art and music such as elegies and theatrical tragedies. Their rituals often incorporate silence, allowing reflection on mortality and the ephemeral nature of existence. Regisseur Alaric Duskveil, though reclusive and soft-spoken, is deeply respected for his insights and wisdom. Whether to grieve, make pilgrimage, or sight-see, visitors come from afar to see The Hollow Spire a massive monument honoring those who’ve passed.

Zephyros

Regisseur Cassian Aeron
Zephyros is a realm of dueling champions and poets whose prowess with words matches their skill with swords. Zephyros is known for its dramatic, windswept plains that inspire poets and warriors alike. The culture values honor and personal freedom, and its people are known for their adventurous spirits and hosting grand dueling tournaments in The Windsong Coliseum. Its people are daring, with a love for adventure and romance. Regisseur Cassian Aeron, a daring and flirtatious figure, carries himself with the grace of a swordsman and the soul of a poet.

Thalassara

Prima Seraphina Virella
Thalassara’s culture revolves around the sea, sophistication, and elegance with music at the heart of its identity. Its canals and waterways echo with songs played on harp and flute. Those most skilled are honored with an invitation to perform at The Azure Sonata Hall, a floating opera house. Its citizens are known for their artistic refinement and affinity for the sea, despite being miles from the ocean. Longing and romanticism pervades their art, with tales of star-crossed lovers and oceanic adventures. Prima Seraphina Virella, known for her grace and poignant melodies, has captured the heart of Regisseur Cassian Aeron, creating a romantic tale sung across Harmonia.

Chronis

Prima Bara Tenebris
Chronis is a kingdom of starry observatories and ancient timepieces, such as The Celestial Orrery, where scholars study the heavens to understand the flow of time. Its people are meticulous, valuing wisdom and patience, and introspective, blending science with artistry. The kingdom’s art captures fleeting moments and eternal truths, often through intricate clockwork sculptures. Prima Bara Tenebris, with her commanding presence, is seen as a guiding figure who balances the weight of tradition with a deep care for her subjects.
