King A'la As U'Cu'Mos (a.k.a. The Silver King)
King A'La, fifth of his name, is the King and High Holder of the Kingdom of Cul, Suzerain of its dependents and Soverign ruler of all peoples in its lands, blessed may be his reign. King A'La is a strong, yet not overly tall man, and choses to wear his father's simple yet elegant crown of Electrum, mined in the Hills of Ve'La. He is a stern ruler and seeks to keep the kingdom firmly grounded in the traditions of its forebears.

Personal history
Prince A'La was born to Prince To'Tas of house U'Cu'Mos in the year 519 AC. Prince To'Tas himself was 21 at the time and was not deemed an heir to the throne, as his uncle, King A'La III had a healthy male heir, Prince A'La, dubbed 'Firekiller' due to his unforgiving nature and love of the cold, often requesting for the hearths in his rooms to be put out. However, in the summer of 533 King A'La III died of consumption and King A'La IV took the throne, though his reign would prove short. Having only produced a simpleminded daughter and no male heir, King A'La IV died in a shipwreck scarcely 8 years into his reign, passing the crown to King To'Tas in 541. Heir apparent to the Kingdom of Cul at the age of 22, Prince A'La quickly and diligently learned the many facets of ruling from his studious father. He busied himself with martial, academic and economic activities, barely having time for his wife E'Ve. One notably absent point was religion, with A'La being an open sceptic of the church. As his father approached the age of 60, Prince A'La began to gear himself up for his role as future monarch, occasionally to the serious displeasure of his father who remarked "The prince would not greive for me, but exclaim his jubilance at his new position." His frugal policies in managing the coinage of the Kingdom, earned him the name "The Silver Prince".
Contrary to his father's thoughts, when news came to Prince A'La in 560 that his father had died he locked himself in his chamber for a day and a half, and afterwards claimed "I will never be as wise a king as him". His nickname carried over, and the Silver King, A'La V, began his long and wise rule.
