The Six
At Vikan Academy, the institution’s structure revolves around a well-organized educational system known as The Six, or the Six Halls. These six classroom buildings are designed to provide a comprehensive academic experience, housing both foundational and specialized courses for students.
Each of these core buildings is organized not only by year but also by academic level and field of study. This organization ensures that students progress through their academic journey in a structured way. Within each building:
The Ground Floor: Houses the student store, the teacher offices and the general-level classes.
The Second Floor: Hosts accelerated classes for students seeking a more challenging academic experience.
The Top Floor: Reserved for advanced classes, offering the highest level of instruction for those looking to push the boundaries of their studies.
In addition to classrooms, the Core Classrooms are centrally located around a courtyard and cafeteria, forming a triangle-shaped layout. The courtyard provides a space for students to relax, study, or socialize, while the cafeteria offers meals and a place for students to gather during breaks.
