General

Nestled within the southwest corner of Vikan Academy is the Aeres building. Constructed and owned by the Aradox Corporation, the Aeres is roughly 250,000 square feet with dark grey walls and royal blue roofing. With its opulent design and three-story structure, this manor house leaves a lasting impression of luxury and leisure among students. Guests can enjoy the utmost comfort and safety in this property, thanks to its modern amenities and earthquake-resistant construction. Key features include:

• State of the art appliances
• Reflective tint windows
• An enclosed backyard with gazebo
• Side private entrance

In contrast to the other buildings of Vikan Academy, the Aeres is distinct in that it is solely occupied and controlled by the EVE, with the Aradox Corporation playing a crucial role in facilitating this arrangement. As part of a negotiated agreement, the university agreed to allow the Aradox Corporation to have occupation and ownership rights in exchange for their lifelong sponsorship. For EVE members, the Aeres offers an exclusive study area equipped with 35 study carrels and 5 group study rooms. All EVE members have twenty four access to the building.

Activities & Floors

The Aeres building is a magnet for both social butterflies and wealthy Vikan students who are attracted to the numerous events and gatherings hosted by EVE. EVE related activities are hosted between 4PM and 11PM. One of the most sought-after forms of entertainment is the EVEning Hosting, which offers a tea-and-conversation service with EVE members throughout the year. Guests are also encouraged to play games of chance like card and dice games and participate in themed daily and/or weekly events.

First Floor

Grand Salon

Most club activities take place in the grand salon, which has a capacity of 150 banquet seats. Couches and tables are available to guests. Guests can enjoy upholstered chairs, couches, and tables of varying lengths suitable for tea and/or coffee service.

The grand salon is also available for use by other student clubs, but they must pay a substantial fee and submit a written request for each event. The decision to approve each request lies with the discretion of the EVE Council Members.

Kitchen

The EVE has a small kitchen staff to prepare various snacks and drinks for the guests and EVE members. Despite the small staff, the kitchen if filled with top of the line appliances and cookware. Fresh produce is also delivered weekly to ensure that both members and staff always serve the best quality food.

VIP Private Rooms

The Aeres has five VIP private rooms that guests can purchase for a certain length of time. EVE members can book private rooms for free but must adhere to the same time restraints.

Second Floor

The second floor is only for EVE members and has both an east and west wing. Members have access to an open lounge when they are not taking care of guests. The lounge has several small tables and couches, a small self-serving minibar, and a soda machine.

Second Floor East Wing

The second-floor east wing houses a male and female changing room. Each changing room comes equipped with lockers, private changing stalls, vanity tables and full-length mirrors. Each locker has a digital key that matches the same passcode to the student’s assigned study carrel on the third floor.

Second Floor West Wing

EVE members can freely access five private study rooms in the west wing of the second floor. The rooms have some soundproofing and a large glass wall that allows visibility from the outside. The group study rooms operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Third Floor

The third floor holds the study carrels for each EVE member. Each member of EVE receives a carrel for the duration of their membership. Each carrel needs a digital key for entry, and this passcode is identical to the one used for the student’s locker on the second floor.

The third floor also holds the EVE council members’ office, which is reserved for use by EVE officers only.
