Castes of the Holy City

For millenia, Droshos has been divided into castes. Clearly hierarchical, the castes are based upon the rodents dwelling on the Isle.

Castes of Droshos

Voles

The Voles are the Root Priests and their entourage. Several factions, the Living Temple to Poyas being the dominating one, vie for control of the mighty city. It is unknown if they take sap or not.

Tamia

The Tamia are the bankers, traders and merchants, the noble class. They command the economy of the city. Some of them take sap.

Gophers

The Gophers are the servants of the tamias and the voles. They do not take any sap.

Hedgehogs

The Hedgehogs are the common folk that live in hedged communities, where they share the same reality under the Celestial sap's influence.

Mice

The Mice are the common folk, the smiths, the spinners and craftsmen, not under the influence of Celestial sap.

Molerats

The Molerats live in the sewers of Droshos in a very structured subterranean lifestyle. They collect sap from "unusual" sources and sell it to organized crime across Veyetræll.
