Veyetræll

Veyetræll is the land of the World-Tree. In this valley, Sylgadrig is always visible. Historical homeland of the Rootfolk, the Trællites have taken over hundreds of years ago.

Geography

Veyetraell is an oval valley with a crater at its center, presumably carved eons ago by the gods.

Urban geography

Sprawling cities such as Droshos and Perlior were settled long ago and kept pristine, while Speletra was destroyed by the roaming hordes during the Invasion. It was rebuilt by the Traellites as an agricultural hub.

Hydrography

Many rivers fall into the Veyetræll Crater, which forms a lake that drains into the Sylgad River. At the center of the crater lies the Isle of Sylgadrig.

Political geography

Radia is at the center of the valley, on the Isle of Sylgadrig. Around it lie several Trællite political entities : the Kingdom of Træll, the Kingdom of Oxc, the Teal Republic. Nested atop the Skyre Plateau is the Skyre Theocracy.

Ecosystem

The valley of Veyetraell is home to forests, steppes and rolling fields. It is often referred to as "The Garden" for its Eden-like qualities.

Fauna & Flora

The forests of Veyetræll are lush with dense flora and abundant fauna. Some of it is even magical, as animals and plants too are denizens of the Sylgadic Pantheon. The animals present include all sorts of mythical creatures. Most of them are only known by local groups as the amount of different beasts is quite astounding. However, the forests are being cut back by the Trællites, which makes this diversity a lot less abundant.
