The Gauntlets of Fury
These gauntlets are a magical item that require attunement and are considered cursed.
While wearing the gauntlets, any melee attack the user makes ignite the gauntlets and any weapons the creature is holding with them. The user also is filled with intense rage, and fire glows in their eyes, and ignites any hair they have on their face/head.
Each attack made using these gauntlets gets an additional +1 to hit, and adds 1d6 fire damage to each attack made with them. Melee attacks while wearing these gauntlets are considered magical.
The user suffers 1d4 radiant damage at the end of each of it’s turns while their hair/gauntlets are ignited.
The user also has less control over their anger, and when they use the attack action they must make a wisdom 14 dc saving throw. On a failed save, the only creature they can target with their attack is the last one that successfully damaged the user. Even if the creature is far away, the wearer of the gauntlets will spend their turn getting closer to them to fight them. (If that creature has died or is incapacitated, then the user can choose who they wish to attack). On a successful save the user can attack whoever they wish.
The gauntlets remain ignited as long as an enemy remains hostile towards the group. Unless the enemy is dead or suggests that they surrender, the gauntlets remain ignited and cannot be removed.
Each day the gauntlets are not worn or activated, the user they are attuned to must make a wisdom dc 14 saving throw. On a failed save, the user suffers a point of exhaustion. This exhaustion can only be removed by using them again in combat. As soon as combat begins, any exhaustion caused this way is cured.
