Brief Overview   Lord Salvio Xenthos is the First Lord of Coin, the de facto leader of the Free Mercantile Lords of Tzarog. A master of commerce, diplomacy, and subterfuge, he has transformed Tzarog into one of the most powerful trade empires in Granheim. Salvio is a cunning and ruthless businessman who understands that gold moves the world more than steel ever could.   Lord Salvio Xenthos is more than just a merchant—he is the architect of Tzarog’s prosperity, a master manipulator of markets and men alike. Under his rule, Tzarog thrives, its influence stretching far beyond its ports, shaping the future of trade across Granheim.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Born into the influential Xenthos Merchant Family, Salvio’s lineage has long been intertwined with Tzarog’s rise as a trade empire. Unlike many privileged heirs, Salvio was not content to merely inherit his family's wealth—he sought to expand it beyond the confines of Tzarog, embedding himself in the fabric of Granheim’s economic landscape. Educated at the prestigious Luminarum Collegium in the Sunken Keep, he studied economics, statecraft, and espionage, honing his ability to outmaneuver rivals in both business and politics. Upon returning to Tzarog, he leveraged his education to orchestrate some of the most lucrative trade deals in history, solidifying his place as one of the most influential figures in the Contingent.   He ascended to the role of First Lord of Coin in 457 AEL, following the sudden death of his predecessor under mysterious circumstances—a matter that Salvio dismisses as "an unfortunate accident."

Morality & Philosophy

"Laws are only as strong as those willing to enforce them—and wealth dictates who enforces what."   Views trade as the ultimate battlefield, where the strongest minds, not the strongest swords, determine the victors.   Believes loyalty is bought, not earned, and never fully trusts anyone who does not have a vested financial interest in his success.   Considers war a failure of negotiation, but will fund military endeavors when trade is threatened.
