Reaper

Captain Cassius Vale (a.k.a. Reaper)

Reaper – The White Wolf of the Howling Tempest Before he was known as Reaper, before his name sent shivers down the spines of men, he was just a boy from the ash-stained docks of Trillam—a boy with a dream, a friend at his side, and a fire in his heart that would never die.   His true name?   Cassius Vale.   From a young age, Cassius and Rogan Shaw were inseparable, spending their days among pirates and smugglers, learning the ways of the sea, watching the ships sail into the horizon and dreaming of the day they’d have one of their own. Unlike most, Cassius never feared danger—he faced it, met it head-on, and laughed in the face of death. While others ran, he stood. While others cowered, he fought.   One night, beneath the glow of the ever-smoking volcano, Rogan pledged that they would one day carve their names into legend. Cassius only grinned.   "No ‘one day.’ We start now."   And so they did.   The White Wolf of the Seas Now known only as Reaper, the infamous Lupin captain has become a force of nature, his name whispered from the coasts of Nidira to the frozen ports of Falengaht. His fur, white as the moon’s glow, is streaked with salt, ash, and the blood of those who stood against him. His cold, calculating gaze pierces through even the bravest of men, and his ruthless efficiency has built him a reputation that few would dare challenge.   But Reaper is no tyrant. He does not slaughter for sport or terrorize the weak. His targets are the true filth of the sea—slavers, poison-dealers, and cutthroats who prey on those who cannot fight back. He is feared, yes, but to many, he is also a guardian in the shadows, a necessary evil in a world ruled by worse men.   His ship, the Howling Tempest, is as fast and deadly as the man who commands it, a sloop built for speed and precision, striking like a wolf in the night. Those granted parlay aboard his ship may earn his respect—if he offers them a drink, they live. If not, the sea claims them.   The Captain & His Crew Reaper runs his crew with iron discipline, but he is not a tyrant. He chooses his crew carefully, and those who earn his loyalty find it unshakable. To betray him, however, is to face the depths of the sea with no mercy and no grave but the cold abyss.   His most trusted lieutenants—Rogan "Dead-Eye" Shaw, Tarn Galloway, and Sela "Iron-Hand" Farrow—form the foundation of his power, each one handpicked, tested, and proven. With them, he does not need words. Their loyalty is absolute, and his to them is the same.   To the outside world, Reaper is a legend—a phantom who haunts the seas, a white-furred specter of death who answers to no king, no empire, no god.   But to those who know him, to the few who stand by his side, he is still Cassius Vale—the boy from Trillam who never feared the fire, only the thought of being forgotten.   And if Reaper has his way, his name will be carved into history—not in ink, but in steel and blood.
