Gildress or Goldvale Elves
Gildress (Goldvale)
The Gildress Elves have a deep reverence for nature and strive to maintain a harmonious relationship with the natural world. They see themselves as caretakers of the land, responsible for preserving its beauty and abundance for generations to come. As such, they are highly regarded by the Verdant Warden, a powerful nature deity who bestows upon them special abilities and traits that reflect their deep connection to the land.
Their societies are built amidst verdant growth and life, and they take great care to leave the natural world around them as untouched as possible, only taking what is necessary for their survival. This close connection to nature has also led them to adopt a matriarchal society, as they believe that only a woman can truly understand and appreciate the wisdom and purpose of nature.
Despite their deep connection to nature, the Gildress Elves are generally accepting of other peoples and are happy to share their culture with outsiders. They are known for their hospitality and generosity, often inviting travelers into their communities and sharing the bounty of the land with them.
Many Gildress Elves also walk a druidic path, using their innate connection to nature to cast spells and call upon the power of the land. They are particularly skilled at healing magic, and their abilities allow them to mend even the most severe wounds and afflictions.
Overall, the Gildress Elves are a peaceful and harmonious people, dedicated to maintaining a balance between nature and civilization. Their deep connection to the land, combined with their hospitality and generosity, makes them a valuable ally to any who seek to protect and preserve the natural world.
