Orgeat

A sweet, nutty syrup perfect for giving a drink a dash of almond flavor.

Manufacturing process

1. Add almonds, water, and salt to a blender
2. Blend on high for 60 seconds
3. Strain out solids using a nut milk bag or cheese cloth*
4. Add nut milk back into clean blender
5. Add the sugar and Ticaloid compound
6. Blend until combined, bottle
7. Store in the fridge for up to one month

(*Feel free to keep the almond meal left in the bag or cheese cloth. Makes for a good addition next time you're making cookies.)

Raw materials & Components

• 200g unsalted almonds
• 660g very hot water
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 500g sugar
• 1.75g Ticaloid 210 S (Optional stabilizer)*

*The stabilizer is used to keep the fat from the almonds from separating. Not necessary as a good shake will mix it back into the milk
