Aaren Finian is a Hobgoblin Vabensmith from Hobsrunne, with an unorthodox approach to his trade. Most smiths of his type will refuse work pertaining to anything arcane. This applies to extreme weapon modifications as well, with "ethical" guidelines they must follow. Years of tutelage instills the disdain/disgust of magical enhancement, or design changes not approved by other Vabensmiths. All except Aaren, who could care less for the dogmatic approach to arm creation. The limiting mindset holds back grander innovation, and deprives the world of the true ingenuity a Vabensmith at his best, could produce.
