Dulend

Dulend is the very successful colony of Umbria in the Faranmal Jungle area of Hadrashar.
Established almost immediately after the first discovery of Hadrashar, the leaders of Umbria had great foresight to establish a city that's primary focus would be to grow food and collect water to trade with other colonies. Due to this strategic importance, Umbria has profited both economically and politically as the other colonizing nations have somewhat bowed to the necessity of Dulend to their colonization efforts.
Other nations have tried desperately to settle in the Faranmal Jungle but have been constantly repelled by local threats. Most attribute Dulend's success at protection to the mages who live and study at Umbria and thus may ward the city with powerful spells.
