Melora

The Wild Mother

Melora is the Wild Mother, guardian of all the world's wild places from the highest mountains to the deepest oceans. She is nature in its purest form: its life-sustaining bounty, and its harsh, bloody pragmatism. Life and death are equally hers.
The Wild Mother has a torrid relationship with her wife, Erathis the Law-Bearer; they love each other, but sometimes find themselves at cross purposes.

Divine Domains

Melora's dominion is all of nature: the forests, oceans, rivers, mountains, deserts, and tundras. Her followers work to preserve the balance of nature by ensuring that people don't take too much from the earth, and by destroying unnatural beings such as undead and aberrations that defile her realm.
As fundamentally elemental beings, giants and giantkin are under Melora's patronage, as well as tritons, merfolk, and other intelligent sea-creatures. All beastfolk and lycanthropes are hers as well, even awakened animals.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Melora's symbol is a wreath of grains, wildflowers, and fruits tied to a shepherd's crook. Her druids and clerics often carry a crook as a badge of office.
