Hallowbind
A divine binding woven in radiant stillness. When spoken, golden light rises from the ground in threads; not chains, not roots, but something between the two; curving upward to anchor body and spirit alike in place. The binding does not wound. It holds. The soul is calmed, the body steadied, and the air around the target falls into a hushed, luminous silence. Faint runes shimmer along the golden threads, Angelic or older, and pulse gently with each breath of the one held within. Hallowbind has been used to stay killing blows and halt charges mid-stride. It is not a punishment. It is a pause; imposed by judgment, sustained by grace, and released only when the caster allows it.
