Goblin

A small, depending on who you ask, heritage ranging from two to four feet in height, whose stature is the least remarkable thing about them. Where other heritages learn magic as a language handed down by nature, fire, water, shadow, light. Goblins see something closer to the underlying structure itself and have been known to rearrange it to their creative wills. They are regarded across Vesperfall as the true architects of spellcraft, innovating where others simply inherit. Their minds move faster than most conversations can follow, and they rarely pretend otherwise. Quick to create, quick to act, and quietly dangerous when given reason to be; most who share a world with Goblins learn early that their size is not an invitation. Their skin runs every shade of ‘gorgeous green’, and their voices, when they choose to use them for something other than spell work, have been known to carry music in ways that linger long after the song has echoed away.
