Allegiance
A longsword of pale steel, cold as oath and sharp as memory. Its blade catches light the way still water catches moonlight; not with brilliance, but with quiet clarity. The crossguard curves outward in sweeping, angular arcs, etched with interlocking designs that suggest wings folded in reverence. The grip is wrapped in pale blue cord, worn but deliberate, and the pommel rises to a diamond-shaped finial marked with a single engraved glyph.
Allegiance was carried by Hirak before it was carried by anyone else who mattered. Broken once, it was reforged; not to erase what it had been, but to remember. The steel holds the weight of every hand that swore upon it, and its edge does not forget. It is not a weapon of fury. It is a weapon of promise. Whoever draws it draws more than a blade; they draw the full measure of what was pledged.
