The Crowsworn

Babylon is amongst the oldest being in Kalkatesh and the surrounding planes, but there are some threats that even one such as he will need assistance with. The Astral Reckoning brings with it a power not seen in an eye blink and the Lord of Oaths will not see it return unresisted. Not this time. Returning to the one creature whom he owed a debt, one that would never collect, he once more tests the meaning of this friendship, to ask without shame and to give without compensation. He seeks his friend, Vavren.  

Starter

  A set of fine clothes and a pouch containing 25gp.   Iron Crown - This crowned helm provides a protection like that of a shield, providing a +1 bonus to AC (this does not stack with a shield).   Improved Starting Equipment - Choose three from the following item sets to start with: x3 Potions of Healing, x2 Bandoliers, Pole of Collapsing (Non-Magical), Antitoxin, 2 empty vials, Bullseye Lantern, Smokestick, Net, or Hourglass.  

General

  The Iron Crown is also the identifier of the Crowsworn, specifically the design on the brow, depicting their allegiance.   Attribute Cap Increase - +2 Charisma; This boosts the maximum of the ability score but not the score itself.   Language: Gain two additional languages of your choice that are available.   Important   Prerequisite: You must be Lawful to join this faction.

  • Vavren is our ally, no harm is to come to his followers, nor his interests.

  • The Reckoning must be stopped, even if it means to work with those we despise. As long as you are successful you are forgiven, if you are not you will be punished.

Blessings of the Krähewyrm

Loyalty 2 Benefit: Krähewyrm’s Plumage
You gain the blessing of the great dragon crow, the Krähewyrm. You may choose one of the following benefits. Once selected, the chosen benefit cannot be changed.   Cloak of the Crow: Once per combat, as a bonus action, you surround yourself with phantasmal feathers for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency modifier. When a creature makes a melee attack on you, they take piercing or slashing damage afterwards equal to your proficiency bonus. This happens if they hit OR miss.   Beguiling Grace: You gain an aura of dark allure. You gain a +2 on intimidation checks against good or chaotic creatures, and +2 on persuasion checks against lawful or evil creatures.   Bird’s Eye View: You gain 10ft devil sight. If you already have devil sight it is increased by 10ft.   Chaos Canceled: Critical strikes made against you do not deal bonus damage. You do not deal bonus damage when you land a critical strike.     Loyalty 5 Benefit: Gift of the Dragon Crow You have fully unlocked the power bestowed upon your people by the Krähewyrm, and can unleash it upon your foes. As you move, feathers the color of the deepest abyss sometimes get left in your wake. Your shadow appears as if you have great, feathery wings, even if you have none. You may choose one of the following benefits. Once selected, the chosen benefit cannot be changed. These abilities can be used once per long rest.   Breath of the Darkest Night: You can use your action to sprout enormous wings of darkest black and gain a fly speed of 30 feet for one minute. As an action on one of your turns while you have this fly speed, you can expel a burst of black, razor sharp feathers in either a 30 foot radius centered on you or a 50 foot cone emanating from you.. All within the area must make a Constitution saving throw (DC 15). On a failure, a target suffers 8d6 necrotic damage and is blinded until the end of their next turn. On a success, they take half damage and are not blinded. Using this attack removes your fly speed, and ends the ability.   Avatar of the Setting Sun: You can use your action to sprout enormous wings of darkest black and gain a fly speed of 30 feet for one minute. On each of your turns as a bonus action while you have this fly speed, you may shoot a serrated quill from your wings at a creature within 120 feet of you. The target must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 necrotic damage, halved on successful save. Using this attack 5 times removes your fly speed, and ends the ability.  

VINPC

  The Sigil - An ancient sentient Sigil of mysterious origins, found within the Hollow. Contact might be possible, if such a thing is capable of communication.

Exit

  When leaving the Crowsworn you give up all loyalty benefits and must return your Iron Crow.  

Faction Loyalty Milestones Achieved

  • 15, Downtime - The faction itself gains downtime days as if it were a player, if 3 were awarded to the player base, the faction gets 3. These can only be used to progress agendas. These days will be submitted after each update stream.
  • 27, Gold Income - The faction earns 1000 gold every update stream. This gold is immediately stored in the Faction Bank.
  • 30, Forward Base 1 - The Faction begins to expand. You gain an outpost within the country that your Faction resides, Dolten for the World Wanderers. This outpost increases the magical item storage capabilities of your faction bank by 1. This outpost is not an RPable location, and can be destroyed through certain events.
  • 41, Armory - The faction opens its own armory, in which adventuring gear, proficiency tools, and non-magical and exotic simple and martial weapons, armors, and mount/pet barding can be purchased using downtime days, faction members buy these at 50% discount, players from other factions and factionless buy them at full price and 50% is directed to the faction coffers. When you RP the purchase with the Quartermaster of a faction with this milestone, you do not need to spend a downtime day on shopping. If you do not, you must spend a downtime day to do so.

    Then the QM simply Confirms by also putting in how much gold will be added to their Faction bank.  
  • 49, Forward Base 2 - The Faction continues its expansion. You gain another outpost within the country that your Faction resides. This outpost increases the magical item storage capabilities of your faction bank by an additional 2. This outpost is not an RPable location, and can be destroyed through certain events.
  • 50, Research Improvement - The Faction intensifies its researching capabilities. While the Faction has active research it will submit research days as if it were a player. These days cannot complete research.
  • 57, Downtime - The faction itself gains downtime days as if it were 2 players, if 3 were awarded to the player base, the faction gets 6.These can only be used to progress agendas. (replace the previous downtime buff).
  • 66, Medical Ward - The faction opens a medical ward, in which medical supplies, healing potions and anti-toxins can be bought using downtime days, faction members buy these at 50% discount, players from other factions and factionless buy them at full price and 50% is directed to the faction coffers. The medical ward stocks 6 basic healing, 2 greater healing potions and 2 anti-toxins each update stream. The medical ward can only stock each item up to the amount of members in the faction. Non-members and Factionless must RP the purchase of these materials.
  • 75, Forward Base 3 - The Faction expands deep into its country. You gain another outpost within the country that your Faction resides. This outpost increases the - magical item storage capabilities of your faction bank by an additional 3. This outpost is not an RPable location, and can be destroyed through certain events.
