Personal history

Nacritis grew up alongside his family of two brothers and their father in the Rift and they were taught to hold great respect for the earth upon which they treaded and give back to it. Always inquisitive and careful, Nacritis was the wiser of his kin.
His life changed on the day of his own reckoning, whilst trekking through a forest path known to few; a great beast that seemed unlike anything found in nature viciously pounced and was set to tear him asunder. Before Nacritis could attempt to free himself, a seemingly divine being in the form of a beautiful woman, who was wreathed in the power of nature, had arrived just in time to push the beast back and force it to scamper away, heavily wounded. With but a blink in his dazed eyes the woman was gone before interaction was had. The Genasi was left with resentment at his own weakness, but an even greater curiosity of the person who saved him. Dubbing her the “Earth Mother”, Nacritis started to seek out any information he could have of her.
Despite the bond he shared with his family, Nacritis set off on his own out of the Rift and across Kalkatesh attempting to find the best schooling he could that would show word of the creature which saved him. However, without money or influence every prestigious school rejected him and he had to turn to learning within a monastery in Krazax. Soon after training to be a Monk, he realized too that the monastery had no answers for him; and so he moved on once more.

List of Items and MV

Attuned: Sword of Mist Walker Nehushtan
Shortsword - Rare - Attunement

Nehushtan was once the finest warrior of a bastion of civilization that grew across the northeast coast of Khao. The core action that ran the expanse of their beliefs and culture was adoration of the sea serpents, they writhe through the ocean, blocking all connection between Kalkatesh and the rest of the planet. The peoples of this tribe performed rituals and celebrations for the appeasement, appreciation and admiration of these wondrous creatures. This shortsword was crafted using a single tooth from such a serpent, this blade is bone white with an oily layer of yellow acid on its exterior, and the pommel is a detailed depiction of a sea serpent's head.

This shortsword deals an additional 1d4 acid damage on a hit.

Dance of the Serpent: If a creature ends their turn within your reach you can use your reaction to move up to 15 ft so long as you don’t leave that creature's reach. This ability can be used 3 times, regaining the uses after finishing a long rest.

Serpent's Favor: If you bring a creature to 0 hit points with an attack made with this weapon, you can activate the following effect as a free action: until the end of your next turn you gain +5ft walking speed and can add 1d4 to your Dexterity saving throws. You can do this once, regaining the use after finishing a long rest.

This item is Glorybound.
