Iavain Zaumitore

Iavain Zaumitore

"Ya-vayn Zou-meh-tor"

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Tall, slender in build like most elves but not necessarily weak.

Identifying Characteristics

Was the target of a violet attack, and scarred across the face, from top right to bottom left.

Apparel & Accessories

Full art representation of the dress   A black victorian dress, with black fur trimming around the ends of the sleeves. Still wears the green fingerless sleeves, though she had a second pair that were cut more into wrist-length gloves.   There is black fur along the V neck of the dress, that continues into a hood. Her scale mail covers her chest, and is worn under the dress.   She also wears a black sheer veil to cover her face and the scar, held in place with a silver headband, clipped with two circular accents, red with small white dots.   Under the dress is a black petticoat, then scale mail leggings, then her navy leather boots because she likes them.   The silver ribbon of the Steel Saints is tied into a braided bun in the back of her head.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Her shortsword is held very near and dear to her. The petrified wood tied around it is obviously her holy symbol for Lorn, but how she got the wood, how she got the sword, and how she got the ribbon used to tie it are held just as highly.   Keeping it brief, her life in Dolten started with her father, younger brother and younger sister, her mother dying from child birth with her sister. One by one, the lives of the rest of her family would end, either to sickness or the bumps in the night that plagued the Doltenian lands. Instead of falling to grief and despair, she turned to Lorn, accepting that their deaths would have a greater purpose.

Morality & Philosophy

"I am tolerant of other faiths and respect the worship of other gods. Life is and death is respected in all walks of life, and to those that die, I pray that their soul brings new life in its stead."

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Though reserved, Iavain still has a sense of curiosity, and an itch for adventure. She knows there is more to the world than just the bleak atmosphere of Dolten, and more people that, she hopes, would benefit from what ever help she could provide. The last thing she ever wants to feel is useless.

Likes & Dislikes

Likes: Stormy weather, unknown dusty spaces, mushrooms, sweet pastries   Dislikes: Surprise, changes in routine, arid heat

Channel Divinity: Path to the Grave
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to mark another creature's life force for termination.
As an action, you choose one creature you can see within 30 feet of you, cursing it until the end of your next turn. The next time you or an ally of yours hits the cursed creature with an attack, the creature has vulnerability to all of that attack's damage, and then the curse ends.
