Below you will find rules that have been added/ refined to the game but do not merit a complete new article / section. Anything here will superseded the DMG, PHB or other rules. Unless a source is explicitly stated.  

Critical Hits

 
Critical Hits should feel powerful and strong. They should rock the enemy to the core. However at times luck can be against you and you can roll a critical hit but roll snake eyes for damage. This rule modifies the existing Critical Hit rule. From now on when you score a critical hit you impose the maximum damage of the die roll + the relevant modifier. You then make an additional damage roll to reach the total damage. For example, a fighter with a maul scores a critical hit. The fighter does 12 damage with the maul (maximum of 2d6 damage) Then adds his +1 Modifier to bring the damage up to 13. As a critical hit was scored the fighter then rolls an additional 2d6 and get a 2 and 4. The fighter then adds these results to the critical hit to make the total damage for the critical 19.
