The Avidians as a species rarely have use for violence anymore. Their treaty with the Conflux has ensured their safety for many, many years. However, some Avids Still feel a need to prove their nobility on the field of battle. Among them is a young bird named Rivven looking to make his mark on the world.
Physical Description
Apparel & Accessories
Rivven never travels without his family's sword, a treasured heirloom that dates back to the early days of the Mantis wars, and Rivven's great-great-great grandfather, who built the sword in the first place. The sword is mainly comprised of hardwood, and edged with finest silver.

Rivven has never been quite happy on his family's farm back home; he tried it, sure, but it never sat well with him that there might be places out there where he can make more a difference than harvesting corn and squash.

Rivven was raised by a very traditional Avid family, and he will do anything he can to honor them on his quest of self-discovery. He always does his best to carry himself with nobility, though sometimes falls a bit short of the mark.

Rivven can get bored very quickly when you're talking to him about anything but combat.

Well, he's not in the first book. At this point I'm just creatively flailing in every direction and hoping something sticks, cuz I have no clue what the second book is gonna be about.
