Captain Fallon

Captain Fallon

"I'd say 'be ready', but knowing you, you've already picked out who you need to take out first. Just don't be so ready that you start the fight in the first place." -Duchess Kira, to Captain Fallon while on a diplomatic mission to the Mantis.
After a lifetime of war, Fallon is a hardened warrior who doesn't take crap from anybody. He's found his way into the employ of Duchess Kira as her captain of the guard and most trusted field asset.

Physical Description

Apparel & Accessories

As Captain of White City Enforcement, Fallon is equipped with the latest technology, including power armor, an auto-plasma-rifle and a static sword for close combat.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

When he was very young, Fallon's village came on hard times; their crops were infected by blight and the people were getting by purely from hunting and scavenging. When the Conflux offered protection, the tribe, being a proud people, refused, preferring to find their own solution. Soon afterwards Conflux troops broke down their front door and inducted the tribe by force. At the time the tribe was weak from the famine, and any who resisted were interred or slain. Fallon, young as he was, was powerless to stop any of it. It was then that he vowed to himself that he'd never be helpless again. Fallon soon joined the Enforcement early training program and worked to excel at every form of combat they would teach him. His dedication would not go unnoticed, and he found himself climbing the ranks of Enforcement, but always he would remember the traditions of his heritage and what the Conflux had done to them.   After many years of service, Fallon was contacted by Duchess Kira, who offered him a position in the White City and, perhaps, an opportunity to make things right.

Morality & Philosophy

Fallon comes from a culture of honorable warriors who proved their nobility through combat. He enjoys the company of fellow warriors and shuns cowardice in all of it's forms. To retreat is a tactical decision, but to flee for fear is dishonor.

I wrote a story that's currently no quite long enough to be a novel, (which is on world anvil if you want to read) and I hope to write more. I've also entertained the idea of DMing a DnD campaign or someone using my setting for their own campaign.

Well done. I like how you avoid some stereotypes that usually come from character's like this. It's nice to see an honor bound warrior who understands the reasoning of retreat.
