Lurgas
Lurgas is the northern most kingdom on Aetrus. For unknown reasons this kingdom has been in opposition to the other Northern Kingdoms, declaring all out war against them in the year 1410 A.D.

Assets
Lurgas has become a military superpower within recent years. Relying on the kingdom's natural resources they have amassed enough weapons, armor, ships and horses to take on all of the Northern Kingdoms.
History
Lurgas has a dark history. It is said that the kingdom is cursed and unless it's people follow the will of the nine hells the kingdom will fall.

Military
The armies of Lurgas are comprised of the following divisions.
Conscript: Peasants and criminals who are drafted into service to either pay off debts or atone for past crimes. They are poorly armed and often placed on the front lines.
Zealots: Not much different than conscripts as far as equipment is concerned, Zealots choose to be on the front lines of battle. They hope that their devotion to Zethek and the glory of Lurgas will earn them a better place in the Nine Hells.
The Black Guard: these professional soldiers make up the rank and file of the military. They are equipped with standard issue weapons and armor.
Dark Templar: Elite knights in service to the Order of Chains. They are well equipped, well trained, and can be seen riding into battle on horseback. An individual is normally in command of their own platoon.
Religion
The Order of Chains is the primary religious order within Lurgas. Devoted to Zethek the lord of Hell, the inquisitors severely punish the worship of any other god within the kingdom.
Foreign Relations
Since the signing of the Northern Kingdom Accords in the year 1120 A.D. Lurgas has had an uneasy peace with the rest of the Northern Kingdoms. Despite their blatant worship of the dark god Zethek, the accords prevent any other kingdom from preventing it. In the year 1405 A.D. the kingdom of Lurgas has decided to break the peace treaty and declare all out war on the Northern Kingdoms.
Education
The education system of Lurgas is based on propaganda. Citizens are taught at a young age that Lurgas is the greatest kingdom on Verdraxis, and that one day their banner shall fly high for all to praise.
