Ludum Praecontatio
After a recent coup d'etat, the tower has fallen under the occupation of the Lurgas kingdom. There has been no contact from within the tower for over three years now and the forces of Gildengard have been vigil in their siege of the city of Daoinfel, allowing none to enter or leave.
The Ludum Precontatio is the foremost school of arcane knowledge in the known world. Spellcasters from far and wide dream of walking through the tower's vast libraries in order to gain even a sliver of knowledge. They are known to be very strict and secretive, granting access only to trusted members.
Structure
The order is divided into three separate political factions: the orders of the Ivory tower, Ebon staff, and Violet eye. Each faction is represented by an arch mage who sits on a council along with two of their subordinates. The council is lead by the grand arch mage who is elected to this position by the council. The grand arch mage servers as a mediator to the council, as well as the face of the order when dealing with other geopolitical organizations.

Demography and Population
Being founded by the sun elves the population of the organization is mostly that, however since it's founding the order has excepted all who show interest in the study of the arcane. The population is roughly 60% sun elf and 40% other races.
Education
The Ludum Precontatio is first and foremost a school of magic. People come from far and wide to become a member of the order and learn from one of the largest library of spell books on the face of Verdraxis. Once a member attains the rank of master, they are charged with an apprentice that they are personally responsible for tutoring in the arcane arts. In addition to this grand masters hold regular lectures to a room of anywhere between 50 to 100 students, where they go on about advanced magical theory.

Legislative Body
The council of arch mages is responsible for writing the laws of the order. Once they agree on a bill it is bought to the grand arch mage who has the final say on whether or not it passes into law.
Judicial Body
Each arch mage has two attendants that accompany them. They sit on the council during meeting but may only advise and have no say in voting. It is their job to ensure that the laws passed by the grand arch mage are carried out.
