Ver'ros

Welcome to Ver'ros, a fantasy world made using the Pathfinder 2e ruleset. It is a world full of life and wonder. And with life, comes death, an endless cycle that has gone on for eons. Predators hunt their prey only to eventually become the prey to even larger predators. This cycle existed in harmony for many, many years, until the Convergence. This one singular event changed everything.   Portals to other realms, worlds, and more opened across all of Ver’ros, letting in a host of new creatures. Some friendly, others passive, while even more monstrosities made their way through. Chaos ensued, breaking the harmonious cycle that had once existed.   In this world of chaos, creatures of different ancestries learned to work together. They fought the monsters and established cities, areas of safety and protection. They would eventually go to war with one another before another period of peace was created again. They fought for land, they fought for love, the reasons ever changing, but the results were still the same. And a new cycle was born.   Over many thousands of years, it repeated and intelligent life was finally able to truly flourish. Kingdoms and nations were created, and for once they lasted. But, with all things, they did not last forever, and eventually they crumbled. But this was not an end, no, this gave way to the rise of new nations. And with each birth and death of a nation, new discoveries were made. Religion, magic, power.   The Pantheon, the creators of Ver’ros, gave power to mortals. Some were benevolent, others, however, were vicious. And yet there were some who controlled the cycle of life and death, nature, and magic itself. It was them who created all life. Not just on Ver’ros, but on all worlds. Yes, there were other worlds out there in the Sea of Stars that held life. Not only did the gods watch over other worlds, but they existed in all realities at once.   This Campaign Setting focuses on Zargos, a small island contintent located in the northern part of Ver'ros.
