Heart of Ink
Heart of Ink - Story
The world of Venhum has existed for a very long time now and has dealt with many issues, wars and deadly divine ascensions over the millennium it has been alive. One of its most current ones is seemingly an invasion of abominations, creatures of terror and unknown origin pouring from a forest in the continent of Leyial. The Silvery Forest, found in the Scar of Hatred region, used to be a place of serenetiy and wonder, before these monstrosities began creeping out of the woodwork, seemingly originating from the heart of the forest itself, driving out the local hunters and tribes from their home, into the quickly becoming "refugee" town of Silverlines, established hundreds of years ago near the forest. With too many beds to fill and food becoming less and less over the months, the locals saw no other options than to call for help against these ghastly creatures, be it from across the planes, sea, be it local adventurers or mystic sages from lands unknown, they need help...badly. You are one of these people, that have decided to help out the people of Silverlines. Maybe the promise of coin, fame or glory called you, maybe it was the mysticism of these creatures or what lies at the heart of it all, but whatever it was, you will see that these people are saved from these monsters pouring out from their forest, allowing them to return home.
