Damage Conversion
This article describes ways to convert a lot of damage into different effects depending on your damage type!
Acid
Whenever you deal 21 or more acid damage, you can reduce the acid damage done by 20 to reduce the target's AC by 1 for the rest of combat. This effect stacks with itself, but only if applied by different creatures.
BludgeoningWhenever you deal 21 or more bludgeoning damage, you can reduce the bludgeoning damage done by 20 to knock the target prone.
ColdWhenever you deal 21 or more cold damage, you can reduce the cold damage done by 20 to reduce the target's movement speed by half until the start of your next turn.
Whenever you deal 41 or more cold damage, you can reduce the cold damage done by 40 to freeze the target.
FireWhenever you deal 16 or more fire damage, you can reduce the fire damage done by 15 to set the target on fire.
ForceWhenever you deal 16 or more force damage, you can reduce the force damage done by 15 to push the target 15ft.
LightningWhenever you deal 21 or more lightning damage, you can reduce the lightning damage done by 20 to daze the target until the start of your next turn.
Whenever you deal 41 or more lightning damage, you can reduce the lightning damage done by 40 to paralyze the target until the start of your next turn.
NecroticWhenever you deal 21 or more necrotic damage, you can reduce the necrotic damage by 20 to restore your own hit points by 10.
PiercingWhenever you deal 16 or more piercing damage, you can reduce the piercing damage done by 15 to make the target gain one level of bleed.
Poison - Whenever you deal 16 or more poison damage, you can reduce the poison damage done by 15 to sicken the target until the start of your next turn.Whenever you deal 31 or more poison damage, you can reduce the poison damage done by 30 to poison the target for 1 hour.
PsychicWhenever you deal 16 or more psychic damage, you can reduce the psychic damage done by 15 to muddle the target until the start of your next turn.
Whenever you deal 41 or more psychic damage, you can reduce the psychic damage done by 40 to stun the target until the start of your next turn.
RadiantWhenever you deal 31 or more radiant damage, you can reduce the radiant damage done by 30 to blind the target until the start of your next turn.
RotWhenever you deal 16 or more rot damage, you can reduce the rot damage done by 15 to remove a beneficial 1st Level Spell from the target.
Whenever you deal 31 or more rot damage, you can reduce the rot damage done by 30 to remove a beneficial 2nd Level Spell from the target.
Whenever you deal 46 or more rot damage, you can reduce the rot damage done by 45 to remove a beneficial 3rd Level Spell from the target.
SlashingWhenever you deal 51 or more slashing damage, you can reduce the slashing damage done by 50 to dismember the target, removing an armor, leg or other appendage except the head.
Whenever you deal 101 or more slashing damage, you can reduce the slashing damage done by 100 to decapitate the target.
ThunderWhenever you deal 16 or more thunder damage, you can reduce the thunder damage by 15 to deafen the target for 1 hour.
Whenever you deal 31 or more thunder damage, you can reduce the thunder damage by 30 to either push the target by 15ft. or knock it prone.
