Sun Jin Bastion

This nation of healers built up over time, they refuse to use violence, and are the most renowned healers in the entire world. If there is a place to go for healing, it would be the Sun Jin, the problem is they are very isolationist, after the repeated attempts of the Shixia to take over the island they have set up formidable defenses to protect themselves. In partnership with the Jalanrak Magedom they have setup magical defenses that allow very limited access to the island at the discretion of those on it. The defenses are impenetrable, there is one port on the island that people are allowed to dock at, and you must pass interrogation by a giant colossus at the entrance to the bay. There have been a handful of attempts to enter the city state against the desires of the colossus, and every one was never heard from after passing it. Quite a few were ships were just destroyed by a casual wave of the colossuses hand, capsizing them. Once inside there are reports of a force of troops that keep the peace. Healing is free, paid for only by donation if the person so chooses. Many have tried to convince a healer to leave the city, but so far none has, and no one has found the secrets to their healing arts.  The only clue is that in the center of the islands forest there is a giant tree that seems to glow with it's own light.  The defenses put up by the Magedom have so far thwarted anyone trying to find out more.   The island seems to be protected against scrying, as well as the ring of Guardians surrounding it are capable of great destruction.
