Sokolka Protectorate

The no mans land between the Ryis Hegemony and the Draaken Empire.  Has slowly been settled with people with nowhere else to go, and those that want to disappear.  It's patrolled by the Ryis infrequently to make sure there has been no incursions from the Draaken Empire, and to make sure the automated defenses are still in working order in case any Wyverns try to make it over the mountains.   There is a fierce independent nature to the people that settle here, there is no governmental structure, each village/city relies on itself, with some limited trade amongst them.  Warlords rule different parts, and the villages they lay claim to either pay them tribute or are put to the sword.
