The Infinite

The Infinite is a massive temple complex located in the heart of the city of Artoria . It was built during the reign of Emperor Lucius Liciniana Artoria, who ordered the construction of a massive structure in which would be built ten individual temples dedicated to the gods of the pantheon. The temples are arranged in a circular pattern, with each one facing towards the center of the complex. The central area is a massive open-air courtyard that serves as a gathering place for the faithful and a space for public events and ceremonies.

The ten individual temples within The Infinite each have their own unique architectural style and decorative motifs that reflect the values and teachings of the god they represent. The temple of Athreos is a somber, gothic structure with black marble walls and gargoyles perched along the roofline. The temple of Ephara is a towering white marble structure with a series of arches and columns that evoke the grandeur of the original structures of Artoria. The temple of Heliod is a golden-domed structure with a massive statue of the sun god at the entrance.

The temple of Iroas is a massive arena-style structure used for ritual combat and training of soldiers. The temple of Karametra is a series of interconnected gardens and arboretums filled with exotic plants and shrines to nature spirits. The temple of Keranos is a soaring tower of glass and bronze, with a massive uncut crystal at the top that crackles with lightning. The temple of Klothys is a dark, ominous structure with a central pit used for sacrificial offerings. The temple of Nylea is a rustic, earthy structure built of wood and stone and surrounded by lush gardens.

The temple of Purphoros is a massive foundry and workshop where skilled artisans and blacksmiths create beautiful and powerful objects of metal and fire. The temple of Thassa is a towering structure with a massive underwater chamber where priests perform sacred rites to the goddess of the sea.

The temples and all altars within are protected by a secretive group known as the Order of the Golden Scepter, a collection of elite warriors and scholars who have sworn to protect the Altars and the gods and goddesses they represent at all costs. Over the centuries, The Infinite has been the site of countless religious ceremonies, public gatherings, and important events in Artoria's history. Today, The Infinite remains the most impressive and important religious site in the Artorian Empire, a symbol of the people's devotion to the gods and their faith in the power of divine protection.
