    The Establishment of Gor Turin
    Founding

This Marks when and where Historically it's thought that Moradin created and gave his edicts to the Dwarves. They were to establish a city beneath the Serrate Peaks and explore crafts of creation always improving their skills and handiwork.   The Dormant Volcano of Dverghjerte (de'ver-yer-teh) kept their City warm and their forges operational. They spent the better part of 5 centuries keeping to themselves, expanding their city, refining their culture, and honing their crafts, away from the problems above the surface. They established Temples to Moradin and created great architectural feats beneath the surface. Eventually came a time when they decided to reveal themselves.

    The Brass Road
    Diplomatic action

The Dwarves reveal themselves to the world above. The Council of Vol and the Tempered Synod met several times before formally beginning negotiations to establish a trade Route with the Dwarves. It wasn't for about 5 years that it was finally establish that they would create what would be known as the Brass road - a trade route from The Sicities running safely into the Underground stronghold of Gor Turin.   This relationship lasted for Several years and both sides benefitted in teaming up when they needed to against the Orcs. The Dwarves didn't hold the Goliaths with the same contempt that The Voleans did.   There were exchanges of weapons, The dwarves in turn learned some of artificerey. Also both of the regions being a dichotomy to one another offered insights into different flora and fauna; it was an educational exchange for both sides. The Dwarves helped with some architectural designs for the Voleans.

    Cautionary Magics
    Life, Relationship change

After The creation of the Mythellar the Dwarves were impressed at how the enchantment process was drastically sped up, but disappointed that the weapons or magical items were dependent on the Arcasomnodae sphere of influence to be active. This limitation did not serve a purpose for the Dwarves, but made them wary of how Vol might ramp up production but solely for Vol's benefit.   The Dwarves kept to the ways they were instructed and those few skilled artisans who specialized in artificing used their skills in benefit of the Dwarven culture.   It wasn't until The Volean culture began practicing in Magics that were perceived threats to the Dwarves. It was when V'Shal sheared off the top of one of the mountains - This peak was from a mountain close to the stronghold of Gor Turin - flipping it upside down and permanently suspended it that the Dwarves grew skeptical of their relationship with Vol. It was maintained, but they began over the next centuries to prepare themselves for a worst possible scenario.

    Divergent Paths
    Disbandment

Infighting amongst Dwarven 5 Factions were beginning. Each had a different view of where they saw the Dwarven culture going. 1 wanted to stay in the place because they viewed the city as sacred. Another wanted to retreat further into the Underdark and move away from the fighting above. A third wanted to explore the surface and find out what Velgrath had to offer. Another wanted to discover new riches and begin mining in other mountainous parts of the world; exploring more in the south. The infighting has lasted for many decades.
